How do I configure my course scoring categories?

From the course home page select, NTN Gradebook menu item from the main navigation menu.

Note that the position of the menu item might be different in your course. To move the menu item to the top of your course menu, see this document. This is recommended as the NTN Gradebook replaces many of the default Canvas menu functions and will likely become the most frequently used tab.

To configure the score categories:

1. Select the Scoring Categories tab.
2. The gradebook will automatically display the scoring categories defined by your school. To add a custom category to your course, click the + Category button.
3. Once the course categories are defined, use the weighting panal, set the weight of each category.
4. Click Save when done.
